Ah, the not-so-nice side of social media.

Or... a case study for making sure you think about your messaging at every step of the way. How about a nice "you haven't added any friends yet.... why... here's how!" or something like that. Ouch.

I just found it funny that it was stated so authoritatively and with no compassion.

Surely the folks at Lifehacker are my friends aren't they?
