From the future

A recent episode of the sitcom "The Office" featured a gag where Jim sent faxes to Dwight - from himself, from the future (Click the link below to watch the video clip)

This reminded me of an interesting web site called FutureMe which allows you to send yourself an email in the future.

Unfortunately, we still haven't mastered the technology allowing us to email from the future but this is still a interesting concept.

It is simple really - you create the email now, schedule when you would like to receive it, and hit send.

They discuss using it for a longer term "letter to myself" - to check where you are compared to where you thought you would be. I see it also being quite useful as a simple reminder system alerting you of special occasions and such.
