I long to accomplish a great and noble task, but it is my chief duty to accomplish humble tasks as though they were great and noble. The world is moved along, not only by the mighty shoves of its heroes, but also by the aggregate of the tiny pushes of each honest worker.

I have been very busy today finishing up a project for tomorrow. My perfectionist mode is kicking in strong so there are a lot of little things still on the to-do list, but collectively I think that these small improvements mean the difference between a good job and a great job - a satisfied client and a thrilled client.
It is a lot of work and I'll likely be up most of the night..
but I love every minute of it.
So my topic for NaBloPoMo today and the next in my series of things for which I am thankful is "Self Employment."
I've been the Owner and President of eSeMBe for about 2 1/2 years now and really enjoy the opportunity I have every day to help people get the most of their computers and technology. I love the "Aha" moment when we learn something new that will save them time and help them work more efficiently.
My clients are mostly home users, sales professionals and what I call micro-businesses. These are my favorite type of people to work with. There are so many people focusing on small-medium business that these folks - or micro-businesses have a hard time finding solution providers that are willing to take the time to really learn about them and their businesses. It is so rewarding to me to actually make a difference in people's lives with the work that I do.
Owning a business and being self employed isn't without it's challenges and frustrations but in all of the jobs that I have had, I have never enjoyed one as much as I have these last 2 years.
So thanks to my friends, family, clients, colleagues, and most especially my wonderful Gina for all that they do to make this possible - for allowing and encouraging me to follow my dream.

and thanks for the visit Cindy.
