Perhaps I am a bear, or some hibernating animal underneath, for the instinct to be half asleep all winter is so strong in me.
It is now officially winter in Chicago (unofficially of course until the 21st). This morning we had snow and when I ran out to the store this evening the streets were either a solid sheet of ice or a soupy dirty mess - quite fun either way. The temperature has been dropping steadily for weeks and has been frigid the last few days (note to self - I really need to find my gloves.)
I'm really not a fan of winter or cold weather - which of course makes Chicago the perfect place for us to live. Actually, I'm not a big fan of hot weather or humidity either - again making Chicago perfect. I guess it's the highs and lows that are the issue. I much preferred the weather in Colorado - sure we got a bit of snow but it melted quickly and there were well over 300 days a year of sunshine.

I'm not too excited about snow.
Congrats on NaBloPoMo!
@ Kelly - Screw Variety, I just don't want it so freaking cold
ahem - sorry about that...
Actually that range sounds a lot like Colorado where it would be warm during the day but chilly at night. Here it's just cold all the time - today we went from 23 to 29 - WHEEEE!!!
