I Won!

Rollerkaty announced the winner of her Super Seventies Photo Contest today and I am proud to announce that my entry was deemed groovy enough to share the top prize.

This was a great contest and some outstanding photos were submitted. I'll take the prize even though it was likely the wallpaper that won it rather than me.

Congratulations! That's a groovy pic indeed. I was barely a baby in the 70s so I didn't really have any pics worth posting.

Congrats, Scott! Fabulous photo. I'm loving that door and think it's because we had our shower doors covered in a similar pattern. What a fun event. I miss so much when I languish in foodland. I tell you...

Mark - Those overalls are outstanding. If I was brave enough to post me in my green leisure suit, that would have been a battle.

Nat - Thanks. I loved your prom pic - and the R,W & B pants.

Lis - Thanks. I had some great ones of my older brothers and my parents that were good too but I really wanted one of me.

Kelly - Ahh, the ubiquitous flower pattern. I wish I had pics of the window coverings that were in our basement - those were really out there.

Katy - Thanks for having the contest. It really was great fun.
