AMEN...I just got in a wreck about two hours ago for the mere fact that the person in front of me forgot to use their signal. I can drink coffee, eat and breath while I drive but I still use the signal to WARN others that I am making a turn. No, it is not hard to use the signal. You hit the nail on the head: LazyNess.
One thing about cars is that a lot of thought goes in to placement of the controls. I find the turn signal is really conveniently placed, only inches away from where my hand is on the steering wheel.
It's been awhile now. When I lived outside Nashville the joke was, "If you see a car with Tennessee plates and the turn signal on.... it was probably on when they bought the car."
Way to let it rip! If I had a dollar for every loser I meet on the road around here, I'd be wealthy. My favorite is the not quite or maybe deceptively twenty something female who is late for work and fluffing her wet hair in her rearview mirror while inadvertently attempting to ride my bumper all the way down the hill. It makes me sizzle just thinking of it now.
I think we have generally become a bit too nonchalant in our attitudes about driving and safety.
I remember learning to be respectful of the responsibility that comes along with driving a car. I worry that people today just don't take it seriously enough.
Information is not knowledge, Knowledge is not wisdom, Wisdom is not truth, Truth is not beauty, Beauty is not love, Love is not music and Music is THE BEST
You know, with my iPhone, I can actually post to my blog while mobile. Yeah. It just keeps getting scarier!
Okay, turning right now.

Lazyness indeed.
