Godfather of Groove - Chuck Rainey

Carol over at Bass-ically Speaking adds another to her great series of interviews with some astoundingly talented masters of laying down the deep end.

This time around it's Chuck Rainey in the spotlight. If you don't know his name, you sure know the songs he has played on and the musicians he has worked with.

Can you keep a secret? I may be getting a lesson or two this summer. My hands are only half the size of Chuck's, but I've always admired some of his techniques. Reckon I can compensate?

Oh how cool is that going to be.

I've always wanted to have a chance to sit with one of my heroes but don't feel I'm at the level where what I can learn from them is worth their trouble.
