Rollerkaty announced the winner of her Super Seventies Photo Contest today and I am proud to announce that my entry was deemed groovy enough to share the top prize.
This was a great contest and some outstanding photos were submitted. I'll take the prize even though it was likely the wallpaper that won it rather than me.

My Huge Entrecard Contest
I like to spend a little time each day browsing through Entrecard sites by following the links from the widget. Some call it chain dropping but for me it's an easy way to get a good glimpse into the world of my fellow Entrecardians (copyright pending...) By doing this, I have learned a couple of things about Entrecard that I didn't know (perhaps I should have read the terms a bit better when I signed up)
Apparently there are two basic rules that I need to follow to be a card carrying contributing member of the Entrecard community.
I need to post about Entrecard a lot.
This is my second post and I hope that's enough really. I think this is pretty much going to cover it for a while.
I need to have a contest.
This seems to be really, really important as everyone is doing it. I guess I need to create a contest, and then make it so that a condition of winning is that people need to subscribe to me. Or even better they need to write a post on their blogs about my contest with a link back to me.
It seems that this works to grow my linkbacks which causes an increase in my Technical(?) ranking and then if I am really lucky someone from Google will come by and rank my site.
I have to admit I'm not sure how any of this helps you, the reader, but I get the impression that my site is worthless to anyone without it, so I guess I need to do this kind of thing if I want to be "successful."
So I'm going to run a contest - but I have decided to change the rules a little, you know think outside the box a bit:
So here it is, My Huge Entrecard Contest!!! (note the 3 exclamation points - that implies that it is indeed pretty huge!!!) Continue reading "My Huge Entrecard Contest" »
